Our philosophy is simple: medicine should be personalized. While we embrace established standards of evidence-based internal medicine, we also recognize that every patient is unique. Your symptoms, goals, concerns, and quality of life matter. We believe the best medical decisions are made through thoughtful conversations between a patient and their physician, not rushed appointments dictated by limited schedules.
For that reason, Ever Medical operates as a cash-pay practice.
Choosing not to participate with insurance allows us to focus our time and attention on caring for patients rather than meeting the administrative requirements and reimbursement limitations imposed by insurance plans. This gives us the flexibility to spend more time with each patient, provide individualized recommendations, and build lasting physician-patient relationships.
Our fees are transparent and fair. We document every visit and code it using the same CPT and ICD-10 standards that would be used if the visit were billed to Medicare or another insurance carrier. We do not inflate our fees because a patient is paying directly. The difference is not how your care is documented, it is the level of access, time, and personalized attention you receive.
After your visit, we are happy to provide a detailed receipt (often called a superbill) that you may submit to your insurance company for any available out-of-network reimbursement. Coverage and reimbursement for out-of-network services vary by insurance plan, and patients are responsible for understanding their individual benefits. While reimbursement cannot be guaranteed, many patients appreciate having the option to seek any benefits available under their plan.
Most importantly, our recommendations are based on what we believe is medically appropriate for you as an individual. We take the time to listen carefully, understand your concerns, explain your options, and develop a treatment plan together. Our goal is to help you achieve better health while respecting your personal priorities and quality of life.
